Entrepreneurship & Career Development Center

Connecting creativity, technical skills, and enterprise with pathways toward economic opportunity.

CREATIVE INDUSTRIES & ECONOMIC MOBILITY

A Permanent Home for the Future of Work

ULUS’s acquisition of 821 Whitlock Street during the 2024–25 fiscal year established a permanent home for the Entrepreneurship & Career Development Center and Studio 9.22.

The center connects education with career possibilities in film, television, digital media, and other creative and technical fields. Studio 9.22 and the 48HR Film Project add practical industry perspectives to that work.

The organization’s published plans describe a phased buildout of workforce labs and training spaces. Current programming and site arrangements should be confirmed with ULUS, rather than inferred from the building’s development plans.

STUDIO 9.22 · CREATIVE WORKFORCE

Film Production Is Workforce Development

Behind every film is a team using creative, technical, and collaborative skills. Studio 9.22 connects an interest in storytelling with the wider world of film and media work—from camera operation and production planning to the teamwork that brings a project together.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP & CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Building Skills and Professional Possibility

Creative careers rely on more than talent alone. Technical knowledge, collaboration, professional relationships, and an understanding of how an industry works can help people see a path from interest to opportunity.

Within ULUS, those priorities connect with broader work in education, family empowerment, and economic mobility across the region. The center is a regional resource within one organization, rather than the sole home of workforce development.
