Urban League of the Upstate’s 2024 donor acknowledgment recognized the supporters who helped provide seed funding for the McClaren Institute for Health & Quality of Life. The update connected their contributions with the McClaren AHEC Scholars Program, architectural design, and communications supporting the project’s early development.
Recognizing the Foundational Supporters
The published acknowledgment named Bank of America; Bon Secours; Cargo; Daniel-Mickel Foundation; Duke Energy; Greenville Health Authority; Johnston Design Group; Lighthouse Living; LiveWell Greenville; National Urban League; Ryan (Global Tax Services); SC Humanities; TealHaus; the City of Greenville; the State of South Carolina; United Way of Anderson; Upstate AHEC; Urban League of the Upstate; and Visit Greenville SC.
Together, those contributions helped connect a physical community hub with education, health, and cultural programming. This acknowledgment preserves the organizations named in the historical update rather than presenting a current donor directory or repeating the campaign’s former funding targets.
